Olivia Day 4 Hey Bloggers! This chapter is probably my favorite so far because it's full of suspense and because I have a dog. How about you guys? I think what the author meant was that blue black hair just means it's silky. But, it could mean something else Lilly. I agree with Lilly; I feel bad for Mrs. Olinski. I thought it was sad when Hamilton Knapp wrote CRIPPLE on the board. I mean she's just a little old lady. Why does he have to pick on her? It was kind of cool how that Ethan knew that Julian wanted to help Mrs. Olinski by just looking at the monkey.I thought it was quite funny that Julian didn't know what the play Annie was. I think the fact that he was born in a different country has prevented him from knowing somethings. I have always loved the play Annie but I never knew about the comic strip. I find that quite interesting.Do any of you? I found an idiom on page 100, paragraph 1: "They call that a 'cattle call' ." Cattle call means an open audition. I thought it was weird how the author used single quotation m arks inside double quotation marks. I am glad Michael Froelich's dog didn't win the part of Sandy. He had been so Mean to Julian.I found a simile on page 106. "We had them all facing the same way so that their shadows on the wall looked like a computer rendering of an architectural cross section." I can't wait for the next chapter, especially because it's short.
